UCLA x CC is a new research-practice partnership between the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies and community college practitioners. They came to us needing a website to communicate their first initiative, Learning Together which gathers community college faculty, managers, and staff; UCLA faculty and graduate students; and nationally recognized researchers and practitioners to create a space for equity-focused inquiry, learning, and action.
Design and Development
We used the UCLA Visual Style Guide as the foundation for design, but also wanted to also highlight the unique identity of this partnership. Using authentic photos from their collaborations and bold patterns, we designed a website that is eye-catching while also emphasizing their work and purpose.
We completed the front-end and back-end development of the site within WordPress. The site was built responsively optimizing for various devices (desktop, laptop, tablet, mobile). The site was developed based on Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility guidelines.

Launch and Ongoing Support
We collaborated with the UCLA team to migrate the website live. Post-launch, we have continued to support UCLA x CC by updating the website and planning for future phases as their initiatives grow.
